Scale your testing for ultimate coverage and improved quality by including employees, partners, vendors, or even existing customers in the test of your digital product.
Efficient testing of enterprise applications and inclusion of existing clients
Nowadays, many business processes are becoming more and more digital and business software is undergoing a step-by-step transformation from simple uses, such as vacation forms and messenger apps, to complex order processes, project management software, and virtual assistants.
Show moreUX design requirements for B2B applications are just as high as those for consumer applications.
Businesses, therefore, must ensure that their software applications are user-friendly and run flawlessly. Otherwise, there’s a real risk that apps are not accepted by employees or business clients, or are used reluctantly.
When it comes to consumer applications, companies often wish to ask existing clients for their opinions to ensure that they meet the expectations of the people who are already familiar with their other products.

They have the necessary knowledge concerning which tools could make their working lives easier and how to test all functions, according to the way they will be used in the future. In addition, you can also prevent the rejection of new or modified software, as well as avoid problems with change management.
In this manner, Bring-Your-Own-Crowd™ is able to not only improve the quality, but also the rate of acceptance of B2B applications. B2C apps, on the other hand, allow you to gather direct and unbiased feedback from your existing clients and to make them part of your development process.

What is Bring-Your-Own-Crowd™?
Intranet, business websites and consumer apps, or expert portals – some digital products require special testers that can’t always be found in our Crowd.
Bring-Your-Own-Crowd™ is our exclusive service for businesses whose software quality assurance requires specific knowledge or contains confidential information, and therefore needs to incorporate their own end-users or employees in their type of testing.
This service allows you to integrate employees, partners, vendors, or even existing customers in the functional testing and usability testing of your digital product. You also have the chance to combine your testers with testers from our Crowd.
Our project managers support you with recruitment and onboarding of the testers, as well as training your testers in handling our testing platform, the Nest.
How it looks in practice
One of our clients from the automotive industry wanted to improve the management and interconnectivity of international sales by using a new web portal or online platform and mobile app, reaching more than 3,000 retailers worldwide and being available in 15 languages.
Other than an extensive download section, the platform also needed to grant access to online training and a forum for dealers to exchange hints and tips. To test the portal and the corresponding iOS and Android apps’ functionality and user-friendliness, dealers from all relevant countries were invited to participate in the test. The test took place in two cycles.
First, it focused on user experience testing in the form of an extensive usability study. In doing so, dealers were able to express their opinion on additional functions. After the feedback was evaluated and the platform was adapted accordingly, the sales partners began quality assurance testing by performing typical use cases and hunting for functional issues. Thanks to this, when launched, the platform was successfully received with an internal rating of 9.3 out of 10.
