Munich, 10th of March 2022 – Testbirds, a leading global crowdtesting provider from Munich, is expanding its market presence in the DACH region and opening a second German location in Leipzig. The new office will ensure greater project-related customer proximity and will expand the German-speaking project and crowd management with new positions as a first step. The location opening will take place on April 1, 2022.
Due to the increasing demand for crowdtesting services in the DACH region and the op-portunity to ensure a closer and more personal customer contact through a second Ger-many location, Testbirds is opening a new office in Leipzig as of April 01, 2022. Leipzig is considered a dynamic economic region for IT companies – from startups to large enterpris-es – and over the last ten years alone, more than 500 IT companies have settled there, transforming the region into an important tech hub in Germany. The new location focuses on expanding the project and crowd management departments under the leadership of Markus Steinhauser, COO and co-founder of Testbirds. “The innovative environment of Leipzig with competence centers, buzzing networks, industry events, and a close integra-tion of business and science was one of the main reasons for our choice of location. Leipzig is known for its thriving and dynamic start-up scene and has a central location in Ger-many in the metropolitan region of Central Germany, which also wins us over with a very good connection to our headquarters in Munich. Even though we are no longer a startup, we see the development speed of the city as a great potential to strengthen the market presence of Testbirds. With the opening of the office, Testbirds creates more than 10 new positions in project management. Additionally, more positions will be available in crowd management and oth-er business areas. “I am very pleased that the new office allows us to have a closer rela-tionship with our customers in central and northern Germany and that we can also offer our employees even more flexibility.
