Declaration on accessibility

This declaration on accessibility applies to the websites published at https://www.testbirds.com. Testbirds GmbH endeavors to make the websites offered, including all content and functionalities, accessible to all people and in accordance with national legislation, in particular the Accessibility Reinforcement Act implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

1. Status of accessibility

Our website is based on the internationally recognized WCAG 2.1 guidelines (conformity level AA) and the EN 301 549 standard.

The last independent audit was carried out by the A11YPLAN team on 06.04.2025. Automated tests and a manual check by experts were used.

Result:
The website is partially compliant with the requirements of BITV 2.0 and WCAG 2.1 at conformance level AA.

All test results are documented in an internal measures report, which can be made available on request.

We consistently pursue the goal of making all content accessible and successively eliminating existing barriers.

Keyboard operation and focus control

Not all interactive elements can be fully operated using the keyboard.
Focus frames are sometimes missing or difficult to recognize visually.
The focus sequence is not comprehensible in some areas.

Contrasts and visual design

Input fields and interactive areas occasionally have insufficient color contrasts.
Visually relevant icons are not correctly semantically labeled or marked as decorative.

Structure and semantics

Heading structure is not consistent.
Important regions are not marked by landmarks.
Interactive elements have no comprehensible roles, names or states.

Images and alternative texts

Meaningful images are missing Alt texts.
Decorative graphics are not correctly marked as such.

Forms and operating elements

Forms are not grouped or labeled correctly.
Contradictory ARIA information is available.

Zoom and scaling

Enlargement of text leads to layout shifts in certain areas.

Multimedia content

Videos do not always contain subtitles or alternatives.

PDF documents

PDF files are not barrier-free.

Comprehensibility and orientation

Link texts are not always self-explanatory.
Some pages do not have clear titles.

3. Creation and updating

This declaration was created on 17.06.2025 and is based on the audit of 06.04.2025.
It is updated at least once a year or when significant changes are made to the website.
