Testing your software, app or IoT product is a crucial step of the development process. All market-ready products need to be tested meticulously to guarantee client and customer satisfaction. So if you agree that testing is an absolute necessity, just keep on reading. What we know is that although the importance of testing is recognised, the following question arises: What is testing all about and how can I manage to run a successful test with Testbirds? First and foremost, we want show you that starting a crowdtesting project or a virtual machine is very easy to do on our Nest. Following just a few basic steps will let you start the journey of optimising your digital product. Here is a short guideline to help you get started with crowdtesting:

Step 1: Register to our Nest which takes approximately one minute.

Step 2: Next, you need to buy BirdCoins. This is essential because BirdCoins are the currency you will use when booking one of our services. BirdCoins enable you to personalise your testing process. They are used to buy your required test(s) and the number of testers you need as well as each service level and test type, which vary in amount of BirdCoins needed.

Step 3: To begin the crowdtesting process, click on the Start Crowdtest tab, or select “start crowdtest” on the crowdtesting panel. After that, select a crowdtesting service from our portfolio including Quality Assurance (QA), User Experience (UX) and our own Testbirds Exclusives (TE). Each link has a description of the service as well as a breakdown of how the tests are set up and carried out based on the specifications of each service level. Don’t be surprised, not all service levels are available for every test type.

Step 4: When you have chosen the service and the service level Self Service click on “start” for a new crowdtest. Now, you will be directed to a page where you can set up your test. And you can define the conditions and parameters of your test, give access data to testers, upload files and any other information that is necessary to carry out the test.

Step 5: If you chose the Self Service you will get the test results directly from your testers.

That’s basically it! So, to sum it all up: you can be independent and manage your testing without any support. That means you can immediately start testing after having finished reading this article.

Testbirds’ services are flexible and can adapt to your needs. In case you don’t find the right answer or option right away, our support team is always there to help you. Besides, in some cases you might get forwarded to our account managers or project managers to make sure we find the perfect solution for your testing requirements.

No matter what choice you make, the results based on crowdtesters’ feedback will help you improve your products, become a serious competitor in your respective market and receive direct insight into your potential customers’ thoughts on your product – because that is what our crowdtesters represent: Your end users.
